High ping when streaming

Hello.

I've streamed TF2 off and on for almost two years. Lately I've had an issue with my pings being much higher than they should be when I stream. I use OBS Studio (always have), stream at 2500 bitrate, 30fps, and have fiber internet. When this has happened the issue has disappeared once I stopped streaming. I can't think of any changes I've made that might have caused this. Any stream wizards out there who can help?

Best regards.

Sorry for necro,

Today I had the exact same experience without changing my obs settings. I've streamed tf2 with these settings in the past without issues. Changing bitrate and resolution didn't help, I got 130 - 200 ping in every server. I got advice to use Streamlabs OBS instead, but I'd like to know if there's a fix for this.

Thanks in advance
