Better to know you dont like the parties than to feel comfortable just having zero understanding of whats happening in your government?

at least you can opt out and claim indifference, i could do something dumb like writing random shit on the ballot and make the vote invalid, but feels bad to throw something that people struggled for generations away, you know, and i dont want to vote for a party that leans close ideologically to mine but has bad candidates in control, feels kinda like a bernie supporter that would been forced to pick hillary even though you knew how much she rigged the primaries against him, I guess.

I'd vote green ideologically but I disagree with them on nuclear energy and the local policies they want to enact in town
