Right so I have been having a lot of fps problems recently.I have tried probably everything like configs such as cowmanglias rhapsodys m0res chris' and mastercomms but they don't seem to give me anything above 50 fps, Keep in mind I have a gtx 1050ti and a amd fx 4300 quad core, I have also tried to use different huds because I heard that some can give you more fps. If anyone can help I will appreciate it but I have also been thinking about quitting due to fps.

overclock your cpu as high as you can, thats the bottleneck. i oc'd my amd 8350 by .7GHz and it made my tf2 like waaaaaay faster

also for mastercomms' config you should use the badcpu preset, see if that helps at all

also try the no hats mod

Your cpu is terrible for running tf2 because its single core threading is slow, with the current state of the game and all its skins i doubt you can get enough fps through configs, tweaks, overclocking or any other means to have a consistent fun gaming experience. I would recommend you buy a new motherboard and a current gen i3 or i5 K series cpu with a custom cooler and overclock depending on your budget for constant high frames.

its a shame you got such a nice graphics card paired with such a crappy CPU
if you spent your GPU cost in a CPU you wouldnt even need a config for 120+ fps (maybe)

badcpu is only for two thread CPUs. You have a quad core. Don't use badcpu.

What are your launch options?

found your issue brother. Buy a Ryzen CPU if you want to be able to play this game.

Make sure you remove -dxlevel after the first launch. Also I would recommend removing the fullscreen and w, h launch options when you remove dxlevel.

Is there anything running in the background that could be causing this? Try disabling your antivirus if you have one.
The fx 4300 may not be a great CPU but you should definitely be able to get more than 50fps with a graphics config.

I have AMD Phenom II 4x 955(Quad core 3.2GHz) No OC and i still get 90+fps in 6v6 teamfights. In highlander product(the worst map) 64fps was the worse thing (before inferno update). Check temps. Power options. FX is still better than phenom because it has newer instructions, litopgrahy and so on. I use comagalia dx 81. If you only get 60fps maybe your fps is caped in your gpu drivers.
