Is there any way to edit the winger to use the default pistol sound like it used to? Is there even a weapon script for it in the game? None of the weapon script packs I've found include anything other than stock pistol seemingly.

download game_sounds_weapons.txt
put it here: tf/custom/<custom_folder>/scripts/game_sounds_weapons.txt
open it, go to this line
modify "wave" for Weapon_Winger.Single to ")weapons/pistol_shoot.wav"
and "wave" for Weapon_Winger.SingleCrit to ")weapons/pistol_shoot_crit.wav"

uses a butt load of rndwave so after a few thousand shots you might hear a single shot using the new sound
