All my TF2 files are read-only and when I cut read-only off and the dialogue box closes, I open it again and read-only is checked again. This basically means TF2 isn't saving my settings so I have to fix my resolution, sens, and all graphics settings every time I launch TF2.
I'm on a laptop running Windows 10.
Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Windows ten issue, you can search it up on tf.tv other people have had this problem, what I did was boot up into safe mode and then delete the files

I had this with my whole steam folder once, which meant that I couldn't install updates or remove steam. What fixed it for me was to just go in safe mode and delete everything. Don't forget to copy all the files that you still want to avoid losing settings. Another solution is to re-install TF2 in a different folder or disk.
