I didn't realize there were people that still used Windows XP. I'm surprised people still use it and play Tf2 on it.

theres a huge amount of people using it in China and Russia, wich also have an awful lot of Dota 2 players. they said it in one of the Game Dev Days conferences

Did you know that Dota 2's system requirements don't list XP as a minimum despite this fact?

I personally used XP until like 2011 or 2012 maybe. Then I switched to 7 that I'm stll using.
And I thought I switched from XP really late.

However XP is listed for TF2's minimum requirements.

And CS:GO's, despite it being released in 2012 (Dota 2 wasn't officially "released" until July 9, 2013).

I still have a laptop running it, it helps me to remember that windows used to eat a reasonable amount of RAM in the past ;)

btw if anyone has things to read about XP "vulnerability" in 2017 i'm interested

how can they keep updating the localization files if they don't actually add new things to the game?

what are they actually changing?

thesqrtminus1how can they keep updating the localization files if they don't actually add new things to the game?

what are they actually changing?

Probably the accuracy of what they're saying or adding more languages.
