the apple ones look nice and clean and I know a person who wrecked theirs for the longest time and they only broke a week ago but they probably don't sound the best. They do have a mic and inline controls though

I bought a pair of these at Office Depot for $3 around a year ago and they lasted me a long time. For $3 they sounded amazing, but I don't know about $10. If you can find some earbuds at a store nearby on the cheap, they can be pretty good.

IMO you should just get a pair or two of cheap earbuds with a bestbuy warranty or wherever you buy them and just replace them if they break. I don't really see the benefit of expensive earbuds. If you actually want quality just get some headphones.

The only earbuds I've ever liked were the Apple earbuds. They're a decent compromise on comfort, price, reliability, and sound quality.
