your parameters can be either enjoyment, aesthetic/music, or lore behind the fight, up to you.

i'd have to say soul of cinder is mine, due to the range of fighting styles and the gwyn fight in stage 2.

slave knight gael, lady maria, artorias and gehrman are also up there.

worst bosses have to be all of the dark souls 2 bosses, lost izalith bosses from ds1 and darkeater midir (hes not that bad im just angry)

Crystal Sage is my favorite, I just love the design

Gwyn's theme from DS1 is amazing

I still wonder why the hell the Covetous Demon (or Prowling Magus for that matter) was even considered a boss

I do think that the Ruin Sentinels in DS2 are at least cool looking

for the music id say the battle for luwdig. shit was so fucking lit when his second phase kicked it, along with the orchestra going full blast

gehrman was lit for the aesthetics of the fight. that and the music hits p deep.

for the worst boss i have to say it would be deacons of the deep. that whole buildup of a castle hidden in the woods, only to lead up to some 2-bit boss was god awful

Artorias: good art, variety of attacks, good lore, actually aggressive rather than a stage hazard like most bosses.

tower knight music has a special place in my heart https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIW7Ho4xMa4

my favorite boss has to be yhorm, due to the fact that you use a throwback weapon from demon souls (that I totally didn't know about when fighting storm king for the first time) to defeat him.

I wish I had a ps4...

I really love duel-type bosses like Fume Knight, Sir Alonne, Friede, and Gael. Elana is also a fantastic fight.

Ornstein and Smough will always be on top for me, they made me ragequit the game the first I played it, and when I tried again with a new run it felt really, really satisfying to finally beat them.

Artorias is classy af, the fight is really amazing, and it was a blast to have a boss that's actually agressive towards the player.

Darklurker is probably the boss that I had the most trouble on, and the fact that Blitzo killed him thanks to a freaking bug didnt help either ! I got so annoyed that I couldn't beat him, and the fact that it was an optional fight made me even more mad for some reason. Once again, huge relief when I finally beat him.

Sir Alonne and the Fume Knight are the reasons why Crown of the Iron King is my fav dlc so far, both fights are amazing, and I simply love simple, clean 1 on 1 battles.

Yorhm was pretty funny, because I got helped by Siegward, I didnt figure out how to damage the boss, and it ended up being completely solo'd by my fellow friend of Catarina :D

Special mention to the Nameless King, who made me quit DSIII for 6 months, and that I havent beaten yet.

In terms of gameplay I'd say Alonne, Sister Friede and Champion Gundyr, I haven't gotten around to beating Slave Knight Gael yet
Dark Souls 3 did a incredibly good job of having aesthetically cool and interesting bosses, much better than Dark Souls 2 imo. Mirror Knight had a really cool boss arena and mechanic though.

SilvvyCrystal Sage is my favorite, I just love the design

Gwyn's theme from DS1 is amazing

I still wonder why the hell the Covetous Demon (or Prowling Magus for that matter) was even considered a boss

I do think that the Ruin Sentinels in DS2 are at least cool looking

ruin sentinels are cool looking but the boss run is stupid and the shortcut to get there is even worse.

not to mention that they are a lame excuse for a gank boss

SoTFS made that run to the boss so much worse, I don't know why they felt adding MORE little enemies would make it any better. and yeah, the whole damn Bastille zone has a really stupid layout to it

Artorias for sure, spent 3 days or so trying to beat him. I used light armour and a two handed weapon to roll around fast and still hit pretty heavily. Nothing feels better than dodging Artorias flurry of attacks.

If there's any game I wish I could "re-experience" it would be Dark Souls. New game+ just doesn't have the same magical feeling.

King allant is the one i remember the most, spending the entirety of 1-X running towards this huge castle, then reaching the top to fight the dude sitting on the throne and then looking down at where you came from is the best feeling

Ornstein and Smough are my favorite bosses but really any boss fight that includes "double bosses" was fun to me.
The Twin Princes, Bell Gargoyles, Dual Dragonriders, etc.
Those were the most fun for me

Also all the new DLC bosses have been very fun as well
Actual spoilers:

The 1st boss being a double boss as I mentioned and the PVP boss being a really cool concept. While I'm a bit underwhelmed at Slave Knight Gael as a final boss lore wise fighting him was very much fun. Secret dragon boss was cool too.
