Well for starters my in game name is [RC] Vector S.D. (✍). I've been primarily a Heavy since I picked the game up up again, I forget how long its been or when I restarted, but my "hire date" reads: August 6 2008. So I have experience, but having people to properly coordinate with will be new for me.

Most of my experience hasn't been very cohesive given the nature of community servers, so I've largely have had to operate by feel. Because of some of the disadvantages of only playing Heavy, and a combination of frustration and intrigue, I've also worked on expanding my horizon; I've also gained some decedent experience with Medic, Demo/Pyro, and Scout/Soldier. Kind of sort of in that order.
Wile in the fight I try to stay listening for anything odd in my vicinity. I also find myself taking time approaching unwary situations or someone by themselves. But I also blindly jump into things on occasion, but I'm improving. My tracking seems like it's at least half decent, most scouts don't seem too trouble some, and most recently I installed a graphics config.
TF2 has never run smoother. <3 =Q
My immediate assessment of success in some confrontations could use some improvement, but other than that I feel fairly competent. In all honesty I'm willing to say I'm good at the game, but I also know I'm not all that and still lack some experience. Like not being familiar with very many maps or not the most splendid rocket jumper for instance.

Lastly, I would love to find or make a team. It would be great to find some people to laugh and play and smash head in with. I'm also looking forward to a more in depth experience that sounds rather awesome =D
My schedule isn't very solid yet and am coming up on some more college classes, but I should be good for things like Fridays or weekends.

There are two main NA TF2 leagues: UGC, and ESEA. ESEA is a paid league, and only has 6s. UGC is a free league, and has divisions for both 6s and highlander. Highlander is a 9v9 game mode with one of each class on each team. 6s is a 6v6 game mode that is usually played with a medic, a demo, two scouts, and two soldiers on each team.

If you are new to competitive TF2 and want to find a team to play heavy for, you should try to find a UGC Steel highlander team to join. ESEA Open is a 6s league, and teams generally don't use a heavy in most situations.

Here is where you can find threads posted by leaders looking for players for UGC Highlander: http://www.ugcleague.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?7-North-America

Here is where you can post an LFT thread of your own, for teams to find you and offer a tryout if they want: http://www.ugcleague.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?6-North-America

This forum isn't a good place to find highlander or UGC teams, as it's mostly focused on ESEA and 6s.

Good luck in your search for a team! I hope you try out 6s one day, it's a lot of fun :)
