I once heard someone suggest running around a map while tracking the geometric lines of door frames and other well defined features of maps.

thinkI once heard someone suggest running around a map while tracking the geometric lines of door frames and other well defined features of maps.

davey recommended that but it never really worked for me.
just focus on actually trying to track people, it takes a long time to see any decent results.

I did that, just keeping my crosshair on a lamp or sign or bush or something. It was really good for finding a good sensitivity and getting used to it.

Just.. practice. You have to get into the mentality that you have to keep the crosshair on them.

Or maybe that's just me being bad, but practicing should work regardless.

Might not work if the people have really bad movement though.

try playing some guitar hero I feel like it helps my finger dexterity

sometimes when I'm playing I also try extending my mouse hand pinky, less drag on your mouse pad for optimal performance~

this. I remember on br0 Yz and I would do things like this to help our dm out.

something I tried eventually was buying aromatic candles to lighten the mood and de-stress me a bit mid-match. Also keep a handkerchief close or a towel or something to dry the sweat off

Can we get a chart of what type of handkerchief each invite player uses? I want something that will keep my grip smooth and comfortable without being slippery.

A little off topic, well quite actually, but how is everyone juggling their life right now? I forced myself into a back-up position since I felt I could not do everything in my life that I need, while playing this game. A few years ago, it would've been fine but I now have to work 9-6 or 7 while my wife works the same time frame. Since most teams start at 9est that only allows a couple of hours with her, assuming neither one of us have any work to do when we get home, then we play a few hours hours.

While I do love playing this game at a comp level I just felt like it was hurting my job, and more importantly my wife, since she didn't feel like she was getting enough attention during those few hours. So I tried to not DM ever and it would fuck my former team, I am just wondering if anyone has any tips to how they juggled their older life.

PS-She never cared before about me playing but in the last 2-3 weeks since finding out we are expecting our first kid, I think she wants me to balance more time to her and our first child. I don't mind that at all, just trying to find a good spot between both.

you see a thread about a dude wondering how he can keep his mouse on people in an online video game and your first thought is to conduct a survey on how people in a video game community are handling life

it's a mouse-based rhythm game that has little to no relevance to aiming in video games, but people like to pretend that it does

fun game but definitely not the optimal way to practice team fortress 2
