I'm looking to relocate to China among other options (Kunming, Changsha, Chengdu, or Guangzhou, eventually Shanghai) and I want to have a chat with someone who works or worked in the past in China, preferably a software engineer, but anything will do. If you didn't do that personally maybe you know someone? Any help will be much appreciated. <3
Let me know and I'll add you on Steam with my main account or give you any other contact info if you prefer (Phone, WhatsApp, Facebook, LINE, WeChat, QQ, VK, everything).

Thanks <3

why would you want to move to china? i know poland is not the most desirable country to live in but im sure its better than china...

if you do go to china keep in mind the government sees its citizens as numbers, not people

I feel slightly insulted, I don't know if you've been to my country, or China, but I traveled around yours, and not to take anything away from it, I'd chose Poland or China over it any day. Main reason besides falling in love with Asia is that my girlfriend lives in Chiang Mai, Thailand and I want to be able to see her twice a month.

This. My mobile authenticator is half the world away while I'm in Bangkok.

My cousin teaches English at a university in Beijing.

Good money but he hates it. Too many people. I'll ask him for some tips. I also have a friend who lives in Tianjin, and he loves it. So I may as well ask him too :D

I think it's pretty optimistic from you to think that it's not the case in most (if not all) countries

idk where you've been but i'm chinese (second generation immigrant)

i went to fuzhou / fujian for a month or so a while ago and honestly i cannot say it's the hellhole that u describe it as, it's not all sweatshops and sex slaves like you have this image of

unless you've stayed in both poland and china (actually LIVED there) please don't give your opinion

and as someone who has lived for years in canada (toronto), both coasts of the us (berkeley and upstate ny), and spent a month living with family in china, america's literally the biggest shithole ever compared to both toronto and china

im not trying to say that berkeley was a shithole or anything, i loved the atmosphere of the city but some parts of the bay area are just really run down (elcerrito for example idk if anything has changed since I was there)

still loved the city, but maybe my perspective was skewed due to going from toronto suburbs to an smaller apartment for a while (+ i lived for a while in albany ca which was still pretty nice tbh) not trying to shit talk cali at all

buffalo's a nice place if u stay between main and richmond which gives u like a 4 block strip where ur actually safe tbh

but in stark contrast i always felt safe in toronto and china was just different and really cool and i loved it

so what you're saying is: "I only feel safe around chinks and chink bubbles." Literally every urban city is like that lmao

fade- it's not all sweatshops and sex slaves like you have this image of

Fu Zhou/Fujian is full of sex workers, it's pretty common for girls from poor rural areas of China to move into more populated areas to become sex workers while they have their looks.

fade-america's literally the biggest shithole ever compared to both toronto and china

To generalize the US based off limited experiences in 2 cities while playing videogames in your apartment is pretty asinine. I guess living in ur high-rise condo in China paid for by your parents money that they made in America is hella nice. Families from lower classes literally have green card marriages to live in the US and work a low-wage 80 hour job at some chinese restaurant.

Back when I lived there during summers the river water was green af, trash was the scent that filled the air, and everyone smokes. Saying America is a shithole and China isn't is just a delusion by your yellow tinted glasses.

On topic: China is pretty swell, don't take shit from anyone, always haggle.

i dont get how ur self worth is so low that u have to shit talk china to get whitebois on the forum to like u it's literally like a black person screaming about how they hate their own race

also

https://a.pomf.cat/mcexnb.png

yea chink bubble ur right boy ok whatever u say ignoring the fact that i go to a school that's like 2% asian and live in a community that's like im pretty sure 90% white? i said that there's literally four blocks of good place in buffalo because past that is the shitty part of town leading to the statistics above. if i need to explain this to you then i don't even know where to start https://a.pomf.cat/hnybip.jpg is main street idk why you'd ever want to get close to there, half the city is basically abandoned and once you cross into east ferry it just feels odd (and not just bc the shitty broken northeast roads are unever as fuck)

my dad found me an internship / research volunteer position with one of his friends last summer so i stayed in sf for a summer and i didn't feel a chink bubble (lmao wtf is that term) at all and i felt fine, even in mission / castro even if seeing ass naked people walk down the street freaked me out a bit. ur literally missing the point in that places that are statiscally unsafe feel unsafe. i didn't want to put down living in sf as one of the cities i stayed in since i only lived there for like two months but i don't think having asians around me really mattered in terms of comfort. i preferred having some ethnic life to have the foods i grew up with and not feel alienated but it really didn't matter that much. i did really love sf though

i mean if u have this image of me playing video games in an apartment idk where u got that from because i neither live in an apartment nor play video games anymore so w.e, i also didn't live in a highrise condo when i stayed in fujian, my grandpa lives in one but i stayed elsewhere in sort of a old apartment with my grandma bc they separated

i mean im blessed by the fact that my entire family has been well off but it's needless for me to say that they've only been able to get here with shit tons of hard work, if u decide to turn a blind eye to the reason WHY u see so many rich chinaboys out it's bc they (or their parents) work hard.

i get that ur sort of overweight but the first step to being happy with urself is accept urself as who you are and try to improve on that instead of being imbued with a sense of self loathing. are you physically upset when you encounter "chink bubbles?" when you go to family gatherings, do you feel uncomfortable? like i'm legit unable to comprehend how you wouldn't feel comfortable around people that speak the same language as you, have had the same experiences and culture as you, etc

buffalo is kind of the shithole of upstate new york but it's not as bad as you're portraying it as, the shitty part of it is quite the minority by area and not by any means is there a "four block strip where you're actually safe"

american cities are safer than ever in 2016 and this kind of paranoia is fucking retarded unless you literally live in the inner city

also kill yourself calling stevec overweight and giving him the "accept yourself" spiel. stevec has lost so much weight in the past few years, I don't know him personally but he probably worked his ass off and condescending on him like that just makes you look like a giant fucking tool

im not trying to come off as condescending whatsoever, im just straight up confused at the idea that he thinks it's weird that i "prefer" asian areas (when i even don't, i tried to explain that to him). it's like asking u if u'd feel more safe where u are rn or placed in like iraq or something, then me saying that u only feel safe in white? whatever you are? bubbles condescendingly

i saw his progress pics in the ugc thread and by no means am i trying to degrade the effort that he's put into improving himself but being asian and acting like "chink bubbles" (you mean communities of people of the same ethnicity?) are something that is despicable to feel comfortable in is just straight up weird and made me feel like there was some self hatred going on

the four block strip - linwood to like norwood, + the lincoln expressway / middlesex? not a four block strip but nothing that big

steve if u wanna actually talk about this i'd actually love to know more about ur experiences as asian american

i'm not actually in and/or from HK/China, sorry :(

SteveCFu Zhou/Fujian is full of sex workers, it's pretty common for girls from poor rural areas of China to move into more populated areas to become sex workers while they have their looks.

couldn't you say that basically about every okay-ish Chinese city e.g. Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Huizhou and Hangzhou (until a government official decides to pay a visit)?

CHERRY2I feel slightly insulted, I don't know if you've been to my country, or China, but I traveled around yours, and not to take anything away from it, I'd chose Poland or China over it any day. Main reason besides falling in love with Asia is that my girlfriend lives in Chiang Mai, Thailand and I want to be able to see her twice a month.

that wasnt meant in any way to insult poland, ive spent a week in warsaw when i was young and had a blast. what i got from your post was that you felt like moving to china because you didnt want to live in poland... moving to be closer to ur gf is dope dude...
