Problem with custom HUD player models.

I have a problem with custom player models. Basically rather than being the player model it should be it reverts to stock. I am running Linux and no it is not that I have been trying to run windows huds on Linux. I have only found one hud that works (7hud). I have tried many different huds and have found the same problem . Tried toonhud, eve HUD, flame HUD, rayshud and many more. I'm not sure weather it is the huds or that something is wrong with my game files. Danke for your time and leave some replies below :-D

the only difference with huds between OS's is the fonts, check the option for 3d models and make sure the hud has them in the first place
