Honestly, next time they should have a $1500 bond or something. Its bullshit that 2 teams qualified, took their $1000 and decided not to go. Or at least make it so they only get the $1000 at the tournament

serpents was a low prem team btw
deykuzorSerpents and most Russian teams I would disagree on being a top team. They have great players but never a top team. #tf2center would be a better team, and most of the ex-epsilon group isn't interested anymore. I'm actually okay with the current attendees and hope for an exciting Dreamhack.
I just put the 4 teams that won the qualifiers and the top two NA teams. Given that serpents and suave beat the rest of prem in the qualifiers I do not see how the lineup that played in the qualifiers was low prem.

The question was if there was 6 good teams, not if it was possible. I agree getting the american teams was impossible unless they wanted to fund all of it themselves. But suave and serpents got 1000 euros and are european so seeing them was not out of the question.
Also on a side note, I think this is the first competition ive seen in a while where the qualifiers have more money than the actual event. It feels like another person/company said they would fund the final thing but then pulled out because having it such that winning a qualifier gives you more money than getting 2nd place at the actul event seems very strange.

from my understanding they could only afford to come if they won the €1000 from one of the qualifiers. Also I think some of them even still owe Sideshow money from DHW.

Prize pool is somewhat disappointing but honestly I think the 4 teams that we have going will have some really great games. Let's hope there is a valve notification for the finals.
