I have had a potentially related issue with black geometry being on my screen whenever im with another player (on opposite team, i havent tried another player on my team).

Doesnt happen when im on a server with no other players, the more players on the server the worse the issue becomes.

I believe its a driver bug, as I updated my system today for the first time in quite a while, which included mesa and kernel updates.

Deleting my cfg and custom folders didnt help.

EDIT: I use comanglias config anyway and it did this :/ I have modified a few commands in there over the years and wouldnt know what it could be.

UPDATE: Downgrading lib32-mesa to 20.1.8 has fixed this issue for me. the upgrade to lib32-mesa-20.2 caused this issue.

Does anyone know why this mod doesnt seem to work on linux? I also cant get vtf crosshairs to work, nor any weapon config files. Is this a known bug?

This update actually looks really nice. the ONE reason i still wont play comp tho is because it forces me to use viewmodels. like, why? this game is well past the point of being an esport, and the only reason i can think of is for new players watching streams.

Valve is aware that this community is generally nice people. Im sure valve could just ask anyone who streams this game with regular viewers to put up a notice or something in the stream description.
