Long-standing team Street Hoops eSports has decided to disband after several seasons, with the members going their own separate ways.

The team started in Season 14, rising quickly from Open to Invite and making the LAN finals in their first season there, defeating Exertus eSports in a thrilling upset to finish third overall. Since then, the team continued to be a consistent contender with playoff appearances despite a shifting roster, with the peak of the team being an incredible upset of froyotech in the lower bracket final of the Season 20 playoffs.

showstopper, the team's captain, shared with us his thoughts:

Throughout the entirety of the past season, no one wanted to play and we put in very limited time. cozen and I will be focusing on playing Counter-Strike next season in ESEA-IM. We are open to the idea of returning to Invite in the future, but for now we are just going to stick to playing TF2 PUGs for fun.
