After placing 7th in ESEA Invite last season, The Bugs have undergone a huge roster shuffle for the upcoming season; mausy, newspeak, goldfish, and Cole have decided to part ways with the team. Joining The Bugs in place of goldfish and Cole will be farnsworth and topshot. The Bugs have also re-named to Elysian Fields.
farnsworth was previously on The Grime for two seasons before they disbanded. For veteran topshot, this will be his 4th season of Invite; his first dating back to Season 9.
mu shared her thoughts on the roster moves:
So mausy wanted to play with newspeak but he was busy with school and didn't have the desire to play in invite anymore, so they both decided to step down. I've been wanting to play with topshot and farns so we thought it would be a good idea to form a new team with them since their experience brings a lot to the table and we feel pretty comfortable and confident they'll have a great season. Right now we are looking for both a scout and demo who are as dedicated as the rest of us are. Going forward we are just looking to have a productive season and improve as individual players as well as a team and being a contender for playoffs.
Elysian Fields are yet to pick up a second scout or a demoman; we will keep you updated as soon as they’re announced.
