I doubt he is gonna go back to f3 since he didn't leave on a good note, hr seem to have finalized their roster and na'vi is a top3 team, already have an awp and don't seem to have anyone who is struggling.

Honestly, C9 didn't have a lot of chances for a leader. There aren't really any good IGLs that aren't contracted by another huge org, and some teams don't even have a dedicated IGL and just have someone on the team with the most experience with calling taking the role (ex. Hiko), or a coach (ex. Starix, Threat).

I feel like it was a risky choice to take Slemmy for IGL considering he's not exactly a top tier NA player, but it's cheaper/better than anyone else they could have picked up. Shinobi is the only other person that comes to mind that could IGL, but he's contracted with coL at the moment, plus he also hasn't really proven his worth as a leader.

c9 does not really have any options. his online ratings nor his lan ratings are high, but he has IGL experience. i agree with Penda on this one.

overpass is awful and is not interesting to watch on pro level in the slightest, especially now that jump throw smokes are banned
