hey i have a 60 hz moniter i can get usually get 100 fps but when it suddenly drops to 60-70 it looks jittery for a bit. :/ im wondering if capping at 60fps will hurt how the game looks or should i cap it since i can maintain above 60fps.

or don't cap it, i'd rather it jitter and be high then be low all the time.

Why don't you try to see how it looks? just saying.. i think it's easier to try for youself than opening a thread asking about that

Capping below 66 = hitreg issues if you're using cmdrate 66 and updaterate 66

Your cmdrate and updaterate will either be 66 or limited to your current fps. You do not need to worry about these settings (other than having them set to 66).
