make sure you're getting the same FPS in mge as you do in regular games.

If you have mouse accel disabled and you are getting below 1000 fps then fps probably isn't messing with your sens, otherwise ya just set fps_max to whatever you usually get

why would someone lower their sens for a specific gamemode

because it feels too high, meaning that lowering it would make it feel right

Others have said it, and they are 100% true. Your sensitivity feels faster because it is smoother because you are in a very small map with only one player allowing for a large gain in fps compared to normal servers. It is not faster, but just smoother. I would not set a limit unless you really don't like adjusting but generally speaking smooth mouse movement is better.

Start an empty game with no bots and it should feel similar.

lowering it would throw off your aim for actual matches

The problem is that you wouldn't be exact about it. Just trying to make it feel right will make your actual sensitivity go all over the place.

a. way higher fps, try fps_max 132
b. just feeling, in mge all you have to do is focus one person and you are mostly aiming for aishots so you're flicking

disabling rawinput can cause your mouse's input delay to be dependent on fps
some people, three who i know are much better than me, swear by it....................
