SerotoneOf all the things wrong with this... Can anyone shed light on what the proper definition of 'chiptune' is? Doesn't sound like the soundtrack ought to qualify.
Chiptune is a genre of music that's inspired by 8/16/32 bit video game sound tracks and is a more modern approach to that style of music. It's one of my favorite genres actually.

Can't stand his content personally but every time I've seen interviews with PewDiePie or appearances from him outside of his channel he's always come across as a genuinely really nice down-to-earth guy, don't think he deserves the flame he gets for making content that a significant amount of people clearly enjoy. He also donates a pretty substantial chunk of his YouTube money to charity iirc so it's not like he's just straight-up exploiting 12-year-olds for Bugattis like people seem to think.

At least kids don't have to actually spend money to enjoy his content, all they have to do is watch a 15 second ad and then they're free to let their brain rot. Though, I guess this game is a different case, but who cares? Most of them will grow up and move on to better content anyway. Pretty much everybody liked garbage when they were a little kid.
