Good game apart from some of those - loved the char creation. The return of tunes from FO3 I welcome with open arms, too :D

The game runs at super speed for me for some reason. Like every single thing in the game is way faster than it is supposed to be. I run super fast, enemies run super fast, animations go super fast. Anyone know how to fix that?

limit fps to 60 with rivatuner
bethesda still can't understand how game programming has worked for literally decades. game time is directly tied to frame times, so the tick rate of the game speeds up when the frame rate speeds up.

There's probably a way to unlock the console. There's also, I believe, a command line in one of the initial files that you change and then you won't be sped up. I'll have to find ît later

Is that new at all tho? Bethesda has always been like that with its games. If you are on PC they don't make it easy but they atleaset let you rip the game apart and make it what you want. They just keep the simple console BS in there because many PC people really don't care. If you play PC and bitch about the fact that you have to edit files to change things you are doing pc gaming wrong imo.

people shouldnt have to google and edit files to get basic features like no mouse accel, correct vertical sensitivity, and 120fps. these things should just be mandatory

I played for 4 hours and because I used the console, it considered that 'cheating' and didn't give me any of my achievements for the first 4 hours of gameplay. I'm gonna keep playing anyway but that sucks :(

That's how it was for FNV. I don't think you could alter run speed via files, so I did through the console and I got no achievements. Pretty sure I fully completed everything too :(

It's a safety measure against using commands like tcl (noclip), god mode, resurrection etc. So I get why, but it would have made more sense to allow a basic list of commands to be used without triggering it as cheating, and if you wanted to noclip or god mode, you'd have to use a confirmation command or something. Oh well.
