I think it's definitely better but it'll be a long time until I'm not used to the old logo.

I like the old one more, it sort of has this classic look to it, but I defenitly understand the choice for a new logo, it's more slick and simplistic.

I liked the old one more, the classic, slightly more formal feeling look was something I liked.

I don't like the font. I'm not sure what it is, but it seems too bold.

I definitely agree that they need a slight facelift, but I don't think this is the right direction.

i like the classic iconic look of the old one but the new one is very good too and i'm sure i'll prefer it once i get used to it.

the dot animations for voice controls are fucking incredible though

this looks like the kind of logo for a startup that will become anything other than a multibillion dollar company

i like the new logo! apparently they based their foreign language fonts on noto? cool stuff. someone make a hud with this new font, i think it would fit well in rawrsor's hud-in-progress considering the material feel.

The font makes me think of Comic Sans. From a distance, the letters look like they have curved ends. It goes well with Google's catering to people and having a more "playful" theme, but I'm not a huge fan.

I prefer the old font, it's also been in use since 1998. Even if the text didn't say "Google" you could recognize the font, but with the new futura-like font it doesn't have that same effect, the only part that really stands out now is the slanted E and of course the color scheme

I keep not being able to find my Google tabs by their logo because I'm not yet used to the new favicon, but otherwise I quite like the more modern logo. Fits in better with their material design philosophy on most of their apps imo
