You have to update the resource/clientscheme file and maybe resource/ui/scoreboard. Backup your colours and put them into the new file, it's not a big deal.

What exactly do you mean? EOTL should work fine if you have the newest version. Only the main menu promotion is missing but this is intended. You can still go the Mann Co. Store and buy the duck stuff.

The thing is, If you have the duck, you need to use the menu promotion thing to access the duck leaderboard, which is the only way to enter the leaderboard. (I might be wrong, though)

Added the EOTL promo to the main menu for anyone who wants it: http://puu.sh/dsrFi/9bd2ae0336.res (right click, save link as, put in resource/ui). I won't put this in the release though... just don't think it's necessary.

Heyo,I've encountered a few problems/got a few questions regarding the newest version of the HUD (3.64).

1)
I can't seem to ready up anymore.
Pressing F4 on a match server would normally bring up the teamname/ready box,but now all I get is the mouse cursor indicating that a seperate box is open,but it doesn't show at all.
Is this related to the HUD? If yes,how do I fix it?

Reserve ammo being low isn't displayed in a red color anymore.
Yes,it's a permanent thing, hud_reloadscheme doesn't fix it either.
I'm using the default version of the HUD and haven't modified any files related to this,any idea on how to fix it?

Now my crosshair does change when I hit somebody (btw,switches to purple,not red),but it doesn't switch back to its original color (white-ish).

1) Works fine for me. Not HUD related as far as I know. Should be just a bug. Using cl_software_cursor "1" can be helpful when you occasionally experience problems with the mouse pointer cursor.

2) Works fine for me. You probably changed something related to this in the clientscheme file. Specifically, "Low-Ammo Shadow" should be "255 0 0 255".

3) First you didn't use the fieldname of your crosshair. Then you didn't edit the colours. Although it's both explained in the file. Find your HUD crosshair's fgcolor in hudlayout.res and put it in the second line. Use the same opacity in both lines and choose any RGB colour for the hit animation (FAQ #2 provides a link with colour codes).

Based on AmirBnk's screenshot it would have to look like this if you want a red hit animation:
Animate Crosshair14 FgColor "255 0 0 179" Linear 0.0 0.00001
Animate Crosshair14 FgColor "255 255 255 179" Linear 0.15 0.15001

All of your issues are related to hudanimations_tf. You've probably broken the readability of the file by opening it in word. Re download the file, and use notepad++ or even just standard notepad to edit it.

Hey so i put closecaptions 1 in console, but the captions dont appear. Could it be because im playing on 1366 x 768 or is it something else? Any idea how I could change the position of where the captions appear if my resolution is the issue?

fixed it, had to downlaod the captions file and stick it in my resources

Yeah, closed captions are supported but I don't include the files because there are different verions out there and I don't use them myself.

I absolutely adore this broeselhud, but I only have one small criticism: in MVM, it does not show you if the bots have crits on the top, where it shows you the incoming bots. It's not too much of a big deal, but I'd like this to get worked on. Thanks!

Oh, and if possible, could you also make a "cancel" button on the Team Switch and Class Selection? Whenever I accidentally open the menu - mostly the Team Switch menu - I check the Team Switch menu to see how many players are on, and only to realise that I cannot exit out of the Team Switch menu without going to the other team or going to Spectator and back to my team.
