Merry Smissmas everyone! I’m proud to announce Demo Ark, the demo archiver to save you from the flood of demos from ds_enable settings forced by RGL and other leagues.

You can think of this as a retroactive PREC or PeachREC, the goal is to keep your demos organized and your SSD happy. Demo Ark does this by extracting server settings from your recorded demos to identify settings indicative tournament matches, Casual, community servers, Mann vs Machine, and / or Valve Competitive.

It can be configured to sort, rename, compress, and cull demos in just about any way I could think of. The standout feature is the ability to generate a shortcut that runs the program with your configuration while TF2 launches, then closes itself once it finishes its job (usually before TF2 is done launching).

Demo Ark has full support for Windows and Linux (including SteamOS), and more support for Mac than TF2 itself.
For more info or to download the program, here is a link to the Demo Ark GitHub.

If you’d like to see the program in action, I’ve made a quick showcase video showing manual and automated running.
