Edit: While I really like this map, here are some things you could add to make this map even more incredible:

- Bots taunt after they kill you

- Option to toggle direct hit on soldiers for airblast training

- Some sort of sniper area

- Irregular jump patterns that makes aiming more difficult

- Option to toggle whether bots walk towards you and switch to secondary or melee if appropriate

- Easter eggs

I noticed that when you join this map and join another bot map like Walkway right afterwards, you always have this one Scout acting somewhat 'edgy'. If you chose another bot class, one of those will shoot your face instead. :(

It actually looks quite funny if you have this one guy running all over the place while trying to bash your face in. Also, do not join itemtest, haha.

Also, after more testing, it would be great if you could lower the hurt triggers in jump mode.

I've been playing it MGE style

  • the bots tend to stay on the edges
  • any way to randomize their movement more so they're not just stuck in corners predictably? With that behavior, the arena itself is too small. I don't think I've seen the scouts doublejump either.
  • Nosplash option would be beautiful
  • Can you remove the overhang or remove clipping from the building's outside?
  • Playing with no ammo/health regen has a 5+ second spawn and the bot doesn't shoot you again until you shoot it, so I avoid that completely.

My preferences, of course, but if these options could be toggled, I think I'd prefer this to warm up over MGE.

Been liking it so far but here are some things i'd like to see implemented

    When you hover over options, have something display what that thing does (like tr walkway
    Make the class select panels less dark, i can barely tell what class is which
    Make the bots not attack you as soon as you walk out the door

Other than that, good map

Seconded immensely. The bots can sometimes get stuck on the one side with a wall and get blocked by the overhanging the roof when I'm trying to juggle them. A circular no splash arena would remove this problem and also prevent them from getting stuck and juggled in one corner.

I tried this map and while it is well made the bots' movement is pretty predictable and it is absurdly easy to just juggle the bots around the edge of the arena, playing as sol/demo
Well ok it's easier as soldier
I think the arena could be quite a bit bigger though.

Also agree with much of what is said above, the autohealth and ammo option has to be on else it's not an even fight but if you do turn it on and get bored of mindlessly dealing damage and go back into the house for whatever reason it's quite hard to stick your nose out again without being killed, as your health only regens when you're inside the arena. Had a few frustrating deaths that way. Also noticed a bug where if you change the ai's class too fast it doesn't switch until you kill the bot which is annoying with the inf regen on.

Also when i turned the jumping bots on and tried to practice airshots the bots for some reason died midair whenever they flew into the invis wall around the arena, dunno if thats intentional but it was annoying.

I did enjoy this map for things like scout/sniper practice and I like the idea a lot. Just needs to have some of these things fixed up to live up to its potential.
