Yes, outside food is allowed. Ignite asks that surplus food be stored in our private room, and not out on the main floor.

I just pre-paid, so thought I'd mention here that I'll be attending.

Hot Doug's on a Saturday afternoon with hour line wait RIP. So worth it though. Kuma's Corner is like a 5 minute walk away, but it'll probably be packed too. Also worth it.

So I'm probably definitely going to this, driving up from Peoria. Not sure if I'm crashing at my parent's place in Morris after or what the hell is going on but I'm definitely going to be there.

These last few payments bring the total amount of pre-paid players to 15. Still 25 other players who have stated intent to attend, but have not pre-paid yet.

Ideally as soon as possible, but the latest I'll accept payments is about a week before the event. It is at that time that I will be transferring the funds over to Ignite.

UPDATE: There will be Smashes both Brawl and Melee available to play in our private room at Ignite. It will be on a CRT as well, so there should be no problems with input delay.

Thanks to Tagg for agreeing to bring in his copy of Melee and his controllers, and Ignite for letting us use their Wii/GC and CRT.

I was gonna suggest smash bros too, but I thought people will think that's dumb. I can bring some game cube controllers (only have 2 official ones), my wii (no CRT thought), Melee, Brawl, and Project M if more games or controllers are needed.

I think I'll be going, trying to garner some interest from other team members as well. City is like 45mins away, so hell yes if I'm free. I'll be paying when I get the cash/know for certain that I can go.

is CRT cathode ray tv? if so i have 1-2 extras, dunno if i can fit them in the car though since my family is going up to see shed while i go to this event

It's just the one CRT that ignite is providing. I don't think we're going to have any room for other CRTs to be brought in, the private room is not that big. I think you guys will have to be happy with just the one screen to Smash on.

It's a LAN center, computers are provided and you couldn't bring your own PC if you wanted to. The $48 pre-pay is what gets you access to a computer.
