I'm looking for a couple pro level players for this Saturday (May 3rd) to come showcase TF2 on Twin Galaxies Live at 7pm PST. We're located in North Hollywood, CA. Along with original programming and tournaments (from CSGO to all the FGC games), we have a program called "Play with the Pros," where we feature pro players and give our audience an opportunity to play with them, ask questions, etc.
Our unique multi-camera setup allows us to stream all 8 of our PCs at the same time so the audience can act as director and switch between gameplay screens. We're partnered with Twitch and will be promoted on the front page on Saturday at 7pm PST. We also are sponsored by Skype, so there are 8 channels available for players to Skype in as well.
As the live stream for Twin Galaxies, the world's video game records keepers, one of our goals is to focus on player achievement. I'd really love to showcase some epic TF2 skill on Saturday. Please contact me if interested: xander@hdfilms.com or xander@twingalaxies.com.

pie_hero is actually taking some initiative in trying to work something out; unfortunately there aren't many Invite players around there (that I know of), but if pie goes, that's still a very good representation (at least in my opinion).

It probably is, actually. I was doing something similar to this with seeker last October where at the EB Games Expo we were to showcase TF2 "competitively", and the best way for us to do that was MGE. All we did was talk about the mod, what it's for, decision making process in the situations in mge, and talked about TF2
We also did a bit of try hard pubbing with one of us medicing the other & describing thought process when doing stuff. It was pretty fun and a decent amount of people enjoyed it.

We'd be doing 6v6, and yes showcase is the goal. A lot depends on the number of pros we get. We have a few people in house in the pc war room, but I'm still looking for more players (either to Skype in, join the server, or actually be here in person). Thanks for the responses so far!

I'll do my best to come to hopefully recreate the beachcon team with chingoo and pie.

Appreciate all your willingness to jump on this, even though it's last minute. Next time there will be plenty of notice! In the world of scheduling programming for 7 hours a day, 7 days a week, it sometimes happens that people cancel and you have to scramble to make something else work! I am grateful to the TF2 community for all of your support and responses. My hope was to get to reach out and see who I could get to make it happen. And you have all been amazing. THANK YOU!!!!

Our promoted front page spot on twitch is from 7pm to 9pm PST. We DO have it scheduled to go until midnight. So any pros who can stick around after the two hours, after the 6v6 showcase are welcome to stay, chat, play, as well as allow some of the audience to play with you (I know, I know, you said no pubbing!) I'm also open to MGE as well... will talk with the players tonight... make sure we have enough, and then get any final details!
