The best way you get better at dm in general is by playing against real people. Playing against bots isn't going to do much because they don't simulate the same patterns and shit real people do (like actually strafing and stuff).

Play more and practice, but keep in mind that there's no way you'll ever hit them all. Also keep in mind how people jump and bomb in a match is different than how they would in MGE and such. A more valuable skill may be juggling and airshotting them consistently that way.

tr_walkway is useful for about an hour when you're first trying for airshots, to get used to the projectile speed. after that, play against real players

find somebody whos better than u and who surfs every rocket and play them until ur better

It's not like I'm mlgpro or anything, and it's aight for a beginner like me.

Air shotting for soldiers is mostly flick shots and you time/aim through muscle memory, as for the easy ones where it's a straight fall down like in that video it's just lining up the shot and timing it right. TLR is good with his flick air shots. When you get into the upper echelons of play the air shotting becomes more difficult because people actually air strafe and know how to surf better. Playing vs bots isn't really going to make you a super star. I'd say just keep playing and it'll come to you. Also get a 120Hz monitor and a decent rig.

Don't just randomly click, actually look at the jump, recognize the flight path, and fire the rocket to hit him during the arc.

Play on dm_ maps.

ammmomod bball 2s respawn. don't think there's something that rivals the amount of airshots.

Wait and track the movement before you shoot.
Most soldiers will do one simple left or right strafe when they are bombing you, cause they have to keep their aim somewhat steady so let them do their strafe first and then shoot.
Also warming up on tr_rocket_shooting for like 10 minutes can help hitting easy airshots more consistently.

Try to recognize strafe patterns if they have one

tr_newbots will let you just beat up on a ragdoll all day and you'll learn how player models react to certain things and then accounting for airstrafing just comes with time
