I don't think TF2 will be dead as long as this community stays alive, but let's be real here, winning mice and mousepads aren't a big deal. 3400 might be a lot for TF2 but it's nothing compared to many other eSports. Let's just keep enjoying the game regardless of how popular it is.

not only did it peak at 3400, it kept those viewers watching until the end.. which is even better :D

it has less to do with the prizes and more to do with the fact that we got a 1 day tournament off the ground complete with casters and crew, sponsored, etc.
from the feedback that i got the players really enjoyed it and appreciated a chance to compete
