Hey Nahanni I think you're doing a great work and Im just trying to put forward some discussion.

Have you actually looked at other options other than CEVO? Have you contacted any other leagues / organizations other than CEVO? Both UGC and ETF2L clearly stated their support for the NA scene next season here on the forums and etf2l even announced they were recruiting admins for the NA ETF2L

Obviously influential communities and personalities declaring their support on one of the options will prompt a lot of other people to make the move. So what I am asking is just if all the options were on the table and the pros / cons of each ones were weighted. It's great tho that you and tagg have finally come forward with a proposal.

If the ETF2L NA scene does open sign up, the community might be a little fragmented over 2-3 leagues for these future seasons so it is important that influential people like you and tagg take a position but more importantly a fundamented and well thought position (please think in the long run).

I take back what I said supporting NA ETF2L, Permzilla and the admins would undoubtedly do a good job but this honestly seems like the bast direction for NA TF2

My IM team will be playing in CEVO next season. I'm also going to do ETF2L as well (provided they form the division).

I have no issues giving both leagues a shot if they're going to put in the work to help the NA scene.

Its time to lay that dream to rest for now, because as it stands CEVO is best for us right now. Maybe sometime in the future if things dont work out with CEVO we can revisit, but right now continuing to lobby for ETF2L is just going to create a divide within the NA community, and the more teams we get for CEVO right out of the gate, the better. Thanks Nahanni.

BerethCEVO's forfeiting policy is pretty bad from my understanding.

Not really. If you don't respond to a match proposal then you forfeit. 90% of the games this season have been forfeits though so it does look pretty bad.

Also not every team is going to switch to CEVO. So all this is going to do is split the community. GG.

If you're still going to play next season with ESEA after recent revelations and the way lpkane acts towards his consumer base you're an idiot plain and simple.

Not really, I can see a number of teams - mine included - that will multi-league next season.

Pretty easy solution. If you're on a team, get your team to switch to cevo.

wow amazing it really works

Who would have guessed, two of the most maligned categories of gaming communities; girl gamer and gay black man would end up being the saviors of the e sport?

If the ETF2L NA scene does open sign up, the community might be a little fragmented over 2-3 leagues for these future seasons so it is important that influential people like you and tagg take a position but more importantly a fundamental and well thought position (please think in the long run).

Let's try to stay positive here people. We are looking at a solution as a whole community. I'm not saying that people shouldn't support other leagues and in fact they should. The problem that happened in the past is that we let one league be the center of it all. Play the other leagues too! I just support CEVO as they have been around the longest (before ESEA in fact) and a few other factors. I did not speak with the others because it wasn't what I was looking for to support. Nothing against the other leagues it is what I feel would be best for the TF2 community as stated in the original post. Thank you for bringing up the point though.

Note: TF2 wont die because everyone here loves the game and for me I love this community. Let's focus on the positive and more forward anything less then that is just not helpful or productive.
