Arx made a good point that the original poll was not optimal. So, I made a new one that hopefully solves the issues.

why would you make another one. no one will be going back to esea after this season so why does it matter the survey was biased against that option?

ArcadeIsn't IGL dead?

Pretty sure it is, but I included it anyway for good measure.

Prototypeswhy would you make another one. no one will be going back to esea after this season so why does it matter the survey was biased against that option?

13 percent of voters apparently disagree at the time of this post.

Close between CEVO and ETF2L. imo i would currently go for ETF2L as they're much more established in the community and look like they know what they're doing.

hooky you are fragmenting this whole process of choosing a new league. You have two polls that are basically the same thing. Arx is completely right that a survey should not be biased. Only a few would be swayed anyway from thinking they would be "crazy" for voting for sticking with esea. imo just remove the link from the post and use the other survey. Or you could put the original strawpoll link.

It's fine for people to voice their opinion and even attempt to sway others, but I always think the first post in a poll thread should be 100% neutral, as well as the actual poll. After that people can campaign as much as they want. Otherwise it just looks like the pole author is trying to get people to side with them, and even if only some people do decide to side with that person, you might find that other people deliberately piss against the wind to show they haven't been influenced.

This one has been done correctly :)

Looking at both polls, the only clear difference is that ETF2L got a huge percentage of the votes in the second poll, which might be due to the time I posted the poll. Otherwise, they're similar.

Ultimately, this poll is not to make a decision. It is only to lead to potential solutions.

I think it's safe to say that most people want to be involved with ETF2L

I think CEVO and ETF2L are both fine options, but for different reasons. I chose CEVO because I like to watch the absolute top players play under pressure, and CEVO could apply a lot more pressure with a few tweaks.

My last questions hasnt been answered still, so I thought I would post it again here...

What weapons does ETF2L not allow that we (NA 6s) commonly use? I specifically would like to know what items they have banned for the core classes (med, demo, soldier and scout).

Pretty dumb to have a vote at this point since a lot is still not known about what each league would be offering. There's that "pro's and con's" thread but it's really not that informative.

Wait for each league to put out an official statement on what exactly they plan to do to accommodate us before choosing one.
