So I've been sitting on a Roccat Savu gaming mouse since I won it at pax last year. I've decided not to sell it, but to give it away to someone around here who actually needs it. Here is the mouse if you are interested.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826436011

It's new in box, never used. A few rules for this giveaway...

1.) this will be given away to the person who truly needs it the most. I will pay for any shipping fees as long as its inside the United States (international shipping is more expensive and I'm not exactly swimming in money at the moment.) I will ship international but that person will need to send me a couple bucks via PayPal to help with the costs.

2.) post a picture of your actual mouse.

3.) if you already have a nice mouse (or several) you don't need this. I want someone who truly needs it to end up with it. Don't cheat and take a pic of an old beige ball mouse to try and win.

Ill let this thread grow for a while so people have a chance to see it. Ill try to pick a winner and get them the mouse in time for the holidays!

aye she lasted me a good couple of years this intellimouse but her sensor be growing weak

it is time to put her down (thanks for doing this)

- if i flick my mouse to the left or right quickly, it locks that flick after 60 degrees of turning which i believe is a sensor problem
- right mouse click works but barely since i have to press down on it really hard
- mouse wheel scroll works but mouse wheel click doesnt
- wire is really thick and tangled and my sensitivity is really small so mobility is a problem
- theres filth and dust deep inside my mouse which is too deep to clean out

Similar mouse as #2, the sensor can sometimes be odd and sometimes if I flick my mouse too much to the right I can pop uber without clicking the button.

I personally don't need a new mouse but I know a lot of people on this site are in need of one, so expect a lot of replies. Anyways, thanks for doing this man.

Gewt, just call razer and have them replace it under warranty. Wired mice are protected for two years, you should have no problem with it as long as you kept your receipt. Don't come in this thread and say you need a mouse when you have one that's just fine that should be easily replaceable when there are people with much older mice that are barely functional who need a new one even more.

i've always used a touchpad for gaming. this isnt a joke post, i could post pictures of the worn paint on several laptops or people i've played tf2 with previously could confirm. would i be eligible to receive this mouse since i've never had a "real" one, or is it only for people who have old, faulty mice and would appreciate a replacement?

either way, it's very generous of you to give the mouse away, so thank you for doing this regardless

If nix wants I'll send him a Kinzu for shipping. brand new pro edition v2, I've used it a couple of times, but I am too used to having the extra buttons on my other mouse for it to be a viable travel alternative like I thought it would be.

The cable "fraying" on the deathadder is fine. Its just useless cloth around the cord. If you have trouble with it getting caught on stuff just tape it to your desk

This mouse has traveled far with me but is starting to die
The rubber pads on the sides are slowly peeling off
Mouse 4+5 occasionally decide to repeatedly click rapidly instead of holding making me sound like an idiot on push to talk, or repeatedly prec_mark.
Sometimes will change dpi without me pressing the button

Thanks!

I've been playing tf2 for a few months over a year now and 3 seasons of competitive in UGC because I only have a trackpad on my 13 inch mac laptop hand me down. Also lately after playing for more then 30 minutes-an hour when I rocket jump I switch weapons in mid air because of how quick the flick is on the trackpad causing me to randomly pull out my escape plan sometimes and if I don't click in the exact spot needed to it acts a double click. I'm only 16 and would love to be able to buy a mouse myself but I work for little money and use all the money I earn to paying for gas and my parents won't help out either, not even for my birthday in October. I have been told how much better I could be with a mouse and would love to try one out. Thanks for doing do this and congrats to whoever wins!

kuzaIf any Canadians need a mouse, I have a bunch I don't need/use.

i have some crap logitech mouse with the sensor in a bad spot, and the base of the cord is starting to fray causing the mouse to stop functioning at random times.. you have no idea how much i would appreciate a proper mouse to use.
