We are proud to announce that after three months of work, TF2.gg will be released today in its early beta phase. TF2.gg is a new game system targeted at both new and experienced competitive players that currently features:
- Mumble integration
- Class picking based on 9v9 and 6v6 competitive standards
- Servers with UGC/ESEA configs and maps
- Solid backend consistently maintained
- And a clean TF2-inspired user interface!
Features that we are working on now and will be rolled out in the coming weeks are:
- Ranking system for creating balanced teams
- An easy ban request system which we will act on in a timely manner
- Live stats during each match which are searchable later
If TF2.gg is down when you check it, chances are that it's being updated. We are working constantly to fix bugs and release new features based on yours and top TF2 players' suggestions. For any questions or feedback on the site, feel free to add Pascal or fill out the form from the website.

I think this has to be the best thing ever. Since pugs are way to serious and lobbies are just for fun. This TF2.gg thing has a mix of both, love it. Gonna test it out later.

Europe has a big enough tf2 population that it'd probably be nice.
And since I'm Australian, I've got to ask that you see if you can hook the Ozfortress folks up, if only because the irc pug system is kind of terrible.

I just think it would be cool to have ranked Pugs, especially in a system with no barriers to entry. It could help differentiate the system from TF2 Lobby and encourage people to put more effort into the games (rather than off-classing, etc.).

AoshimaEurope has a big enough tf2 population that it'd probably be nice.
Europe has a couple already tf2pickup.net for one. Tho there arnt any for highlander that i know of

I think a silent elo system would be the best, with players being able to choose a class but not a team and a system automating the most "balanced" combination available

Enable clicking on Avatars to bring up a user's TF2.GG profile or STEAM profile

It would encourage people to play as gay as possible to increase their ELO (look at mge as defy said). What's stopping them from running full-time heavy? That should give you a pretty good overall K:AD and boost your ELO.
