Team Immunity vs Kuso Scout , Want to see a match?

With the grand final coming to an end last sunday, we saw Kuso Scout take the championship title for asiafortress 7 division 1. We SAW some amazing plays, particularly namida's sniping on the 3rd map for viaduct, putting tremendous pressure on Muk Eun Ji, the best korean team by far.

Will namida's sniping skills outplay sheep? What will be the outcome? Can the best asian team do well against Team Immunity who claimed the 4th place in i49?

As an avid tf2 player speaking from both competitive and non-competitive aspects, I would LOVE to see an epic match between Asia and Oceania's top tf2 teams. I'm talking about a match up between Kuso scout and Team Immunity.

So dear tf2 players, would you love to see a match between Team Immunity and the top asia's team? How will our best asia's team fair in the match up? What is asia's standard in competitive tf2?

If i have overwhelming response for this thread, the match can be possible. So please give a like (+1) :)

@Kaneco

The ping might not be that good , but there is a WA server that is able to link aus players with asian players with decent ping.

Yeah Kaneco, I get better ping to the US than servers in Asia due to routing

mcan we get somebody like yuki whos played/spectated both sides to say whether or not they will be good games?

back when I was getting good latency to singapore, myself and a mix team of prem/div2 players from Western Australia played in AFC6 Div1 and got 2nd (to yuki's team) without scrimming once

i think the asian scene has some really good individual players but i would be surprised if the games with iM were close at all

I'd find the time to cast this. Maybe not live, but I'd do it.

I'd like to see this happen too. Hopefully you guys find a neutral server to play in.

FTR - snowblind is referring to the team I was playing on in Asiafortress for a few seasons: LSD.

Personally, I don't think it'd be worth it - for players or spectators. I doubt all the players on KS would get good routing to WA, and in the end it turns out to be imbalanced in terms of latency.

I also don't think it'd be close, so going to the effort of sorting something out like this and hoping for an entertaining game is wishful thinking.

Coupled with these two points, I doubt I could find the enthusiasm from my team (more specifically, those with godawful routing) to get something like this organised.

I can assure you, as a Australian, do not under-estimate the retardness of Australian routing. Sometimes my packets to Melbourne (1 state away) will get routed through to Adelaide (imagine you want to play on a NY server and you're in NJ but your packet does a round trip to Houston first).

International routing is an even bigger joke.

SalamancerI hear the Swiss have a lot of neutral servers.

Confirmed.

Source: I'm swiss

All jokes aside, whilst I would like to see something like this, it will most likely be decided by the server it's played on. Similiar to the showmatches between NA and EU.

Thank you for saving me the Google Maps trip and also for making me remember I'm literally retarded when it comes to geography.

Here in South America, when I want to play in a Chilean or Argentinean server, my ISP sends my packets to USA and then to Chile/Argentina, so I get 300+ ping, meanwhile Argentineans and Chileans can play in Brazilian servers with 50~80 ping.

Yup, we have dumb routing things. Brazil servers ftw.
