I don't really know anything about computers so I'm gonna need some help. Mainly plan on playing tf2 and streaming, so I'm gonna want like 100 fps when there's alot of stuff going on. I would like to keep this under 700 but I can go a little over. I need everything except a mouse. Hopefully some of you computer experts can help out here.

If you have any questions feel free to ask.

For 700, you should get 250-300 in TF2. The specs that zilis posted is very close to mine and I usually get 300+ when OC'ed

I wish the prices here (Chile) were similar to there. it's like almost 45% cheaper.

I guess I didn't mention that I would need an OS, and I think you also need an optical drive to install that, so I made added those to the Amd build. Can someone look it over

You might want to switch to an AMD CPU build for this price range.

If you stay with this Intel build about the only thing you could cut back on would be the video card for like a HD 7670 which you would save maybe $50 but if you play only or 99% TF2 that shouldn't be a problem.

-edit-

Do you need a keyboard and mousepad as well? Those do add a little cost (or alot if you want Gaming Grade).

While streaming? Peripherals can get expensive too depending on what you buy.

If you can make a better and cheaper build please do and I only need a decent cheap keyboard.

Yeah I guess streaming isn't important to me so you guys can take that out of the equation.

Changes to the Video Card, CPU, and Motherboard. Added a Keyboard.
Also keep in mind you're going to spend about $80 more upfront because of Mail in rebates. I tried finding alternates that didn't have mail in rebates for a similar or lower price for nearly everything but almost everything that's workable in that price range has mail in rebates.

-edit-
Changed the RAM to a lower CAS Latency (good thing), same speed, and lower price.

No, not streaming. I have no idea what you would get while streaming since I have never tried.

For getting 100+ fps u need an intel cpu or maybe an amd fx 8350 oc. This is why tf2 is cpu dependent and intel's IPC is higher than amd. Video card isn't a problem. I have a 6850 1gb and an i7 3770k and get 150~ fps (@1080p - 120hz - stock clock and Chris' maxframes config) on this bench:

http://teamfortress.tv/forum/thread/7598-tf2-benchmarks

With 700 bucks u can get a super pc for owning tf2.

edit: see that topic for getting an idea on cpu/rig performance.
edit2: My suggestion:
. i5 3570k or 4670k
. asrock z77 pro3 or equivalent z87
. kingston/corsair/crucial ram 4/8 gb ddr3 1600/1866 mhz (1.5 volt is important for ivy, dunno for hanswell)
. ati 7770 or 7790
. corsair cx430v2 (psu)
. get a fucking SSD, samsung 840 pro at least 128gb, for the love of god!!!!

I really doubt a 8350 will help (aside to streaming/encoding) for tf2. A 4 or 6 core fx would be just as good for the normal game. There are so few programs optimized to take advantage of the extra cores its basically useless.
And about fps, that benchmark isn't a very good example of real world preformance at all(eg I got 180 and regularly have 500 in pubs/more in comp).

Benchmark is for get the average fps in heavily load situation. In u get 120~ in there u are fine. Amd fx (4/6 core) can't get high fps. Only fx with very high clock ( maybe 4.5ghz+) so i reccomended fx8350 oc. My past phenom2 x4 965 (note that phenom2 has higher ipc than fx) at 3.8ghz can't get constant 100+ fps with same vga (hd6850).

I kinda have the same goals that wo has with a computer build. Since I don't need peripherals, would this be a good build? I just upgraded the cpu and the video card to make them a little bit more powerful.

If you can afford Intel prices it's well worth it. Beyond that your build is perfectly fine for playing TF2 and never be a problem for a 60Hz/75Hz Monitor.

If you can afford Intel prices it's well worth it. Beyond that your build is perfectly fine for playing TF2 and never be a problem for a 60Hz/75Hz Monitor.

So you're saying I could upgrade it further by going intel? I would like to stream and play tf2, basically what wo wants.

It would be significantly easier assuming LGA 1150 isn't a 1 generation slot.
That and Intel CPUs are atm significantly better in nearly every way.

Also upgrading AMD cpus will become next to impossible within the next few years because they're planning on forcing users to buy integrated CPU Motherboards. Meaning everytime you want to upgrade your CPU or even your motherboard you have to buy both no matter what. + some other business road maps they've made suggest quality is only going to get worse for desktops.

Though this is true (coming from a phenom ii to haswell i7), its not really worth it unless you have a super big budget, 120hz is a lot more of an improvement imo (not that it'd necessarily be possible in this budget, just a point of reference). But yeah, for this budget I'd definitely say go for amd
