Despite my lack of hud editing knowledge I have decided to make an attempt at "finishing" Broesel's unfinished ShinyHUD. Anyway here are some screenshots, note that this is a work in progress and things will very likely change. If you have any suggestions or have found any bugs with the hud please let me know

I actually got a ton of things in mind, and I would seriously love to work on this with you, I got a bunch of experience and knowledge working with huds, assisting with huds and improving them for the better, I added you to talk to you, I think this is a wonderful hud with great potential, I can help in serval ways, animations, crosshairs, fixing some stuff, and personal opinion and what can be improved.
I added you so just letting you know, I got a ton on my mind and I can work with you on this :)

You can enable crosshairs in the hudlayout.res file. However there is a very slim chance that any of these are properly centered. I also have forgotten to add the batman crosshair so if I remember i'll add it before I released v4

Something that's just bothering me... is there any way to align the blue and red lines on the scoreboard? They're very visibly not aligned even though they should be at the same height. It also seems the RED team score and player count are also slightly lifted.

Besides that, in my limited playthrough I found that the multiplier (x2, x3, etc.) is a bit too close to the player icon when capturing a point, the KOTH timers are a bit difficult to distinguish because they're the same color, and the setup time text currently overlaps the timer.

I didn't see anything else. This is a fantastic HUD!

No problem. In fact, if we can beg Broesel to make a blue version of that background, the timers might work as blue and red backgrounds.

I chatted with him the other day he said he might be able to get online sunday or monday. I'll ask him about it then. I personally don't mind the same colored koth timers but I threw this together quickly and some people might like it. It's very poorly done right now so if people want me to keep it in i'd probably polish it up a bit more so it doesn't look as bad.

Ah thanks, i'll try to fix this later tonight. I also noticed that this happens when maps change and it has the "waiting for people to join" message. Should be a super easy fix.

Nor am I, I just set up some quick team colored imagepanels behind the timer backgrounds. Currently theres a thin black boarder where you can see where the panel stops and background starts. Ideally if broesel or someone else could make a blue version of the panel it would make this koth timer situation much easier to deal with. Would probably also include a version that does not have the colored timers.

I have a fix for the scoreboard. Basically, it lowers the stripes a bit, and slightly widens the scoreboard to remove the gap in between the stripes (don't know if that's intentional). I didn't mess with anything else on the scoreboard, but the text on the players part of the scoreboard seems off, as do the class images. I'll see if I can do something about that.

Another edit: Scoreboard doesn't cut off players past the 6th on a team on the 6v6 scoreboard. I assume the same is true of the 12v12 scoreboard for players past 12th on a team.

Another edit: Scoreboard doesn't cut off players past the 6th on a team on the 6v6 scoreboard. I assume the same is true of the 12v12 scoreboard for players past 12th on a team.

Fixed alignment issues on the scoreboard (the player text), and fixed the 6v6 scoreboard not properly cutting off. http://pastebin.com/d5MSh6sq

I did this by making the player list taller. It would be possible to go the other way.

just copy over the scoreboard.res and install the fonts

Thanks for this, I was meaning to fix that last night but I did post it originally at 5AM and forgot quite a few things. I might release a quick update later tonight with some of the test changes that i've made and a couple minor bugfixes such as the scoreboard corrections and HP Buff Fix.

No problem. I also made the main menu text change colors when you hover over it, like other HUDs, but I haven't made that public. It should be a simple fix, though.

Also, you should try using Github, it would make these contributions much easier.

I'll look into Github later, I also removed the rollover text on a lot of elements since I personally do not like it at all.
