I don't know that the design of the system is a good idea, but I actually think the 2DS will/should be successful. The only reason I didn't buy a 3DS was because of the price. Now, a system playing all the same games with newer hardware will be available for less money. I don't even care about the 3D personally! To me it has always been a gimmick. It's cool, but you buy a system for the games.

It definitely looks awkward, but I'd still prefer it to a Vita or something. 2 screens vs 1? Hmmmmmm

Hi.

I'm looking for someone with great dm to beat me up in mge/dm and whip me into shape. Although I know mge rating doesn't mean much, I would prefer someone who is 2100 or above to practice with.

My dm has definitely been improving over the past few months. Although, is still isn't exactly good. I play solly and scout, and would like to practice against both, although soldier is my priority in mge.

I'll take all criticism and try to learn. You can call me trash as long as you tell me why what I am doing is trash.

I'm in the midwest right now, but I'll be in the northeast for the year.

Give me an add if you can help me. It doesn't have to be too often. I'd just appreciate the occasional practice.

Some more comments -- as spy, when disguised, the health elements on the player that one is disguised as are a bit distracting.

The low-health pulses yellow, while the overhealed health is an extremely bright green.

I'm not sure if those critiques are just my personal taste or things you agree with as well, but I think the colors shown for disguised health should definitely be toned down; they're not as important as regular health and don't need the same blinking/overheal effects.

Just a heads up, the setup timer on PL maps clips with the word "setup." I am using a 1366 x 768 resolution.

I understand you may not be finishing a complete hud out of this, but I'll offer up some thoughts I have.

I think the scoreboard looks amazing, although the blue text is exceptionally hard to read. It should be darker. I think the color that players name change to when they die is more appropriate -- either that or the brighter blue at the top of the scoreboard.

Additionally, when I get overhealed the health gets pixelated and generally hard to read for some reason.

Otherwise, the only additional feature I'd wish for is highlighting when hovering a mouse over a class in the class selection menu. Not necessarily highlighting, but some indication or change in font color that the mouse is over that class.

I really do enjoy this hud though, more so even then regula broesel hud -- as I've always liked huds with boxes.

Generally, crosshairs like the ones you described are put into hudlayout.res in the scripts folder.

I would suggest copy and pasting the entire thing there. It should work. You can insert it anywhere as long as you don't mess up the important HUD elements. Good luck.

My resolution is 1366 x 768. I didn't edit the scoreboard at all; it's the default one.

The ping isn't too big of an issue -- I was just wondering if it happens to anyone else.
