I ran into this issue post-Steampipe, where I accidentally had CFG files in tf/cfg and also tf/custom/cfg, check for duplicates!

ishzbtcl_updaterate is 20

your interp won't go below 50ms then, no matter what you set ratio to (unless you join a server with REALLY fucked up settings)

set cl_updaterate to 40 or 66 in your autoexec, same with cl_cmdrate
the higher it is the lower your interp will go, but most servers cap updaterate at 66

you sure you don't have an extra config and autoexec in your custom folder? And your steam cloud is turned off for TF2.

Don't want to make a whole thread about this but I was just wondering, my interp (15.2) flashes orange and yellow but on streams I saw it stays at orange. Any reason for this?

a couple possibilities
1) video compression might make it look orange all the time
2) they're on LAN
3) they have an updaterate of like 100 or something
4) their interp is higher
