In his streams he said that there's a new culture - invite-level players don't want to play invite. They are either leaving after playing one season, or teams die mid-season after realising they are not going to make it to playoffs, or people sandbag in advanced. He also tired of building a completely new team every season.

It's definitely cringe when potential invite contenders kill a team if they can't beat froyo but taking a break after one season is totally normal
also i don't think it's the only reason he's struggling to get a froyo roster to stick together long term

he also is just one of the worst people to play with because 10% of the time he gives you useful advice and the other 90% is sighing loudly and complaining. gee i wonder why people wont put up with him in a dying game anymore. maybe his PERSONALITY being TF2 is getting in the way? NO its the INVITE CULTURE

i wonder what percentage of 6s players have been playing 6s for over 10 years at this point. the drive to try to be the very best has probably come and gone for most of them.
