hi i started playing this game again recently, and i still have mastercomfig from a few yrs ago (idk if i should change) but i have over 700fps usually and im experiencing really annoying input lag even tho i also have 10 ping. issue is isolated to tf2, so i was wondering if anyone also experienced this and has any fix

Supposed to smooth keyboard inputs between frames to "feel smoother." Why?
Set it to 0
in_usekeyboardsampletime 0

You could also look into an FPS cap using - fps_max N - where N is the max value.

Other than that, check if any other programs are stealing the spotlight on your CPU.

in_usekeyboardsampletime is used only if you keylook, eg. bind keys to +right or +left or +lookup or +lookdown and use those to look around instead of using the mouse. It's not used otherwise. It's also a feature, it's there for your benefit, if you disable it then changing viewangles with the key look commands will be (very slightly) stuttery and janky but yeah since no one uses the keyboard to look around it doesn't matter
