The event was a blast and I would really recomend it, prize or not. The people you meet are awesome and the games are a blast.

Shout-out to nrkgaming for sponsoring us. They gave us some pretty nice jersey's and the guy felt bad that they canceled the prize pot for the tournament, and after he couldn't convince them to change their minds on it he gave us each 20 dollars out of his pocket because he felt bad. Not to even mention all the stuff he did to make sure we were comfy and all set for LAN. Honestly couldn't of asked for anything more.

The event was a blast and I would really recomend it, prize or not. The people you meet are awesome and the games are a blast.

I walked up to Marmaduke, he said who are you. I said I played DotA with you in CEVO. He didn't remember. :(

ALso, the entire weekend was really great. Even though I played DotA, I got to meet Crumpet and the people I've been talking to almost daily for the past year and a half and I had lots of fun. Really looking forward to 2014 edition.

I walked up to Marmaduke, he said who are you. I said I played DotA with you in CEVO. He didn't remember. :(

ALso, the entire weekend was really great. Even though I played DotA, I got to meet Crumpet and the people I've been talking to almost daily for the past year and a half and I had lots of fun. Really looking forward to 2014 edition.

Bonus - my drive home which should have been a 2 hour trip turned into a 6 hour ordeal as lopert's car decided to break down on the 40 half an hour outside MTL. Fortunately we coasted to an offramp and a passing tow truck randomly found us like 5 min after we pulled off. The guy took us to a nearby reststop where we could stay warm and eat some Subway and refused to take any money for it.
