Google please go to Columbus Ohio, we have the infrastructure required for a fiber network, we currently have one of the biggest and OSU's research dept. has the fastest internet in the US.

swiperI was excited about getting google fiber when I move to KC in a couple of months, but then I realized that I probably can't get it in an apartment. :(

I live in the area, and if I remember right they're going to install free high-speed citywide (well, Kansas City, Kansas proper and Olathe). I'd assume that means that they can install Fiber anywhere too.

they're slightly out of it with austin, TX and some parts of montana. WHY THOSE SPOTS THOUGH.. If anything they get better internet because they don't experience internet traffic and shit :<

Austin has quite a bit of internet traffic. It's a college town with a thriving arts and music scene, AKA tons of people between 18-30. Not all of TX is deserts and cowboys.
