you know the glass is always half full and whenever you look at anything you can find the positives or find the negatives and youll be so much happier and youll enjoy life so much more if youre being positive and youre looking for the positive, negative shit happens to us all the time but you gotta turn it into a positive and whatever it in life you can flip it and make it a good thing.

and even my mans here who has the problems that he is there still other people out there that have worse so you have to feel lucky with what you have and with what your capable of doing and youre still able to play tf2 and go to college..

its gonna payoff but you have to fucking hang in there... and you can do it,I know you can do it...if i can fucking do it you can fucking do it,you know what i mean...im not giving up, so you guys are not gonna give up either, were gonna do this together all the way to the fucking end

dont ever be skeptical...i dont know or i cant, dont ever be negative always positive and always BELIEVE..yes you can..believe to achieve thats the key

This is the worst thing you can possibly say. Don't listen to this guy and don't ever give up.

I don't know you and your dad, but perhaps he's telling you this because he doesn't want you to give up. Does he know how you feel about this and if he doesn't, would you sit down and talk with him about it? If he wants the same thing for you that you want, then perhaps you can both find a solution to it.

Also, try and look inside yourself and think about what you're doing in life. Are you happy with the things you're doing? Things will have to change but you need your own help to find out what it needs to be.

Everybody fails, though failure is not a bad thing. You can't blame yourself if you've tried your best, that's what really counts. In all the hobbies that I've been recently enjoying, failure never brings me down. In practice, I've become too focused and engrossed in the present to care about all the times that I've messed up. I still have hobbies that I want to try and would enjoy though I still struggle to find my mind in the present when doing these activities. It's difficult - and stress targets the past and the future - reminding you of your failures or pressuring you into thinking that you might fail. My advice is to be mindful of your surroundings, take a step back and absorb the world around you. What gives you responsibility? What makes you want to get up and move forward and do something positive without thinking too much about the possibility of not succeeding? For me at the moment, it's doing low intensity walks instead of going to the gym and doing high intensity strength training. I don't need to worry about my form for instance, or how much weight I'm lifting, or if I should have tried harder on the previous set. Just throwing in my two cents, I hope this helped a little.

im pretty sure you still have plenty of time to succeed, you just might benefit from tiny breaks. also actual therapy might help if you keep feeling awful

You are afraid of failure because the fear of it has been ingrained in you from a small age like with most people. So each day you get up and try to put yourself down by saying these things in your head so you are less dissapointed IF you happen to fail or not do good enough at something. These are restrictions that you and no one else is placing on you. The only person that can lift them is you. Life gets harder from here on for you and you should be aware of this.

Honestly life is a grind and you need to get used to it. You're still young enough that if you continue the way you're thinking, 10 years from now nothing will have changed in the way to deal with your day to day. You will have less people that trust and believe in you in that time and it will just get harder to cope with your insecurities.

Listen to your parents because they are not saying this to preasure you, but because they want you to have an easy life one day. I don't know them but generally most parents want you to succeed not fail in life.

And from experience I can say this. It's so much worse to have done nothing and not succeeded, than to have given your all and failed. Failure is the mother of success, you learn from it and it shouldn't be feared.

TL;DR - Give it your all so you know even if you failed you tried your best
