Hey, newb question. What is the recommended (in terms of ease and quality) method to go from a TF2 demo file to something that can be freely edited in a program such as Sony Vegas?
Easiest method is local recording using OBS. If you want something with a constant framerate (independent of the quality of your computer), you should use the built in source recorder through something like lawena, source recording tool, or just through the console (more difficult). This thread covers it, skip to the end for relevant advice as recording tools tend to break with time.
