Also it still works. Just use a simple viewmodel script for the broken flamethrowers.

Managed to get mine working in sv_pure 1 again. I removed any instances of the following from my autoexec:
sv_cheats
cl_loadondemand_default
cl_always_flush_models

(I don't actually know which one caused the issue.)

Hi, I need help as I love your ViewModel project but lately, I've had a problem and that my TF2 keeps crashing on startup I deleted the cfg and resolved it but every time I put back in your ViewModel things it keeps crashing I finally figured it was your ViewModel project as I uninstalled from the tf2 directory and tf2 was normal again. This might be to do with the little tf2 update they did yesterday I don't really know. I hope I'm not the only one experiencing this problem and if u can to try and fix asap as I love your ViewModel project but I think it might be broken for tf2.

p.s anyone can comment, love your ViewModel thing

I'm having a certain problem with this mod. After editing and installing the mod, I went ahead into TF2 and decided to go onto training. I waited for it to load and after I picked a team and class. Yet after picking a class the game went and instantly quit itself, leaving me on my desktop.

I'm really not sure on how to fix it as I went and again re-installed it yet got the same result.

Hey, I've been experiencing a rather peculiar problem for quite some time now, whenever I disable any of scout's viewmodels, the animation and sound for the shortstop's shove mechanic play. It's really been bugging me and I'd be grateful if someone out there has found a fix for that.

this is the same issue as everything else regarding broken animations after jungle inferno

Hey, I know this version is out-dated currently but I used your mod months ago then uninstalled it for whatever reason I had at the time and now that i'm trying to re-install it the mod seems to be glitchy and I haven't seen any other posts in the thread about this, Whenever I try to join a game either the viewmodels of half the classes will still be there while the others that I picked weren't (mainly happening to spy) as well as i'll try the old preload room someone posted the link to and itll seem like it works when I test it in a custom game, but then once I go into a valve server the viewmodels will come back.

EDIT: k yeah downvote me for not going through 15 fucking pages of replies to see if anyone else had the same problem. fuckin now i remember why i never got into shit like tftv, everyone here is a fucking asshole whether it be verbally or non-verbal. whatever fucking cunts.

My friend, you may want to get some thicker skin. This is the internet, almost everyone is an asshole. It's the anonymity that does it (I think).

I think valve somehow patched all custom animation from working on casual.
I installed some custom animations, i started a private server with sv_pure 0 and they worked fine, but when i joined casual the animations became the default ones again, and when i came back to my local sv_pure 0 server it was still the default animations.
I don't know how it even works and if it will affect this, i surely hope not, let me know if it is only me who has this issue.
I haven't tested it with these custom animations

Frankly it's probably just something with how the viewmodel animations are configured in the game itself that causes it to crash with animation files meant for older model versions.

I know how to rewrite the installer to be version (and for that matter, viewmodel mod) agnostic, but it's a lot of effort and I'm not sure if I'll ever spend the time doing it.

If that file still works in casual, it means preloading still works, and it's an issue with the content and not the delivery method, which can be fixed.

yttrium abandoned the project before many animations have changed or have been added, you can either edit the .mdl files yourself or use the ones i posted above

I recently downloaded the viewmodel mod, and i have all classes for their primary set as hide viewmodel, and show weapon inspect. But on pyro, this seems to be broken, as it is constantly inspecting without me doing anything, covering up a lot of my screen. Anyone got any idea to fix this?
