*Title fix because I can not spell this morning for the life of me :/*
*Opinion on using two different sensitivities*
I am considering using a different sens on hitscan and projectiles. I feel like my current sens that I use for pocket is too high to be used affectingly on scout as I find that I overshoot opponents. What is TFTV's opinion on doing this? Does it have any drawbacks? I currently use a 5.3 in/360.

dont do it, because it causes inconsistency, instead, lower your sensitivity until you find it suitable for all classes

Do what works for you. Just remember that changing sensitivities will cause it to be harder to snap to certain angles, because the distances to do so will be different.

Playing with different sensitivites on hitscan and projectile classes won't cause any issues. Do it if you feel like.

No offense intended btw... It just sounded hilarious when I read it to myself in my head. Sensitivites might be my new favorite word.

I took it in good spirit so no worries! I actually appreciate it when people point out if I miss spell something so I can fix it. (or half fix it since you still cant edit thread titles!)

I've never really understood having different sensitivities for different classes, especially if they differ greatly. With that being said, however, I change my sensitivity like once every 2 weeks, it keeps it fresh and makes me focus on my aim.

I've been using a slightly higher sensitivity for demo/soldier for a while now (1.5x multiplier). I take some extra time to warm up when I switch between a class. 2 minutes of warmup is usually enough

Plenty of people I know do the same. Most use a 2x multiplier for projectile classes relative to hitscan but anything can work. Just need to get used to it

do what you want, most people stick with one but then starkie has like 15cm for solly and 50cm for scout so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You might want to look into the QL mouse accel driver that way you can keep your muscle memory for flicking but have a lower sens for tracking.

I have a lower one for most classes and a slightly higher one for soldier for flicking to walls/props I'm jumping off. They're no more than .3 apart though in in-game sensitivity units.

only sensitivites get offended by pointing out misspelling

Don't forget about the people who suffer from chronic sensitivitis

The more sensitivites your mouse has, the better it responds.

It's like midichlorians but less dumb.

I've used it on client in a match last season and two matches this season so far and I haven't been banned yet.

It's purely preference, some quake people go as far as use a different sensitivity for different weapons. Some people struggle with it, some people don't. I change my sensitivity fairly often to keep tracking a thing I'm more aware of, but on soldier and demo I have the same sensitivity because those classes rely on muscle memory and twitch aim more than tracking like scout.

I've used several sensitivities at once before, once you get used to it you don't even think about it when changing class. Entirely Personal Preference really.

No joke.
