EA was awful except for Battlefront and I missed Mirror's Edge because the twitch stream kept cutting out

Gears of War 1 remake is highly unnecessary. Would have liked to see #4 or some sort of spinoff with different characters and story.... or a pc version.

gears of war 1 did have the best multiplayer out of the series though

Fallout 4 stole the show for me. It's improving on so many things, and hopefully the changes don't hurt the feel of the last two games.

Same here and it pissed me off. I watch some old black football player ramble on for half an hour, then fucking FIFA trailers (basically "this FIFA will be slightly better than last years one!) then we finally get to Mirrors Edge which I was waiting for and the stream cuts out. Spend the next few minutes desperately trying to get a stream on, finally get back to a stream and mirrors edge is over and there's more fucking sports games and sports games. Then I see some Battlefield: Stars Wars Edition gameplay then out of nowhere a ROTJ Luke Skywalker fighting Darth Vader in the middle of a scene from The Empire Strikes Back???

steam sale is going on and fallout 4 is still a top seller, they definitely sucked the soul of out the fallout franchise but i can appreciate the new direction the game has gone in

It's going to sell a lot but it's going to probably be decent at best, all the Bethesda games are overrated af, seriously how can anyone say skyrim or fallout 3 are some of the best games of all time

I mean sure its nothing like the good old Fallout 1 and 2 but really since 3 came out they have not been the same as that, IMO where they are going with it is a really good direction and they really seemed to listen to the community at large for this. All of the new features are the most popular mods that are out for 3 and NV right now but they took them and improved on them. Sure it wont be like the 90s fallout but they are taking it and really making it its own game now and its a good thing. Lots of people will disagree with me and such but if you want the old fallouts go and play Wasteland 2 or something, you can only do so much with a 3D world and they are choosing the important things that will push the way games are made and played forward instead of the throwbacks to 20 years ago. It'll be hard to live up to SO3. That game was incredibly brilliant in all regards. This is probably the only thing I'm looking forward to from them, save whatever surprises might catch me off guard.

Fallout looks pretty dank. Weapon crafting system looks really cool, not so sure about the base building stuff but they are saying that it's somewhat of an optional extra (although apparently required for the best stuff in the game so w/e).

The gunplay looks far and away better than anything we've seen before from bethesda, but there aren't any full gameplay trailers yet, so I'll hold judgement until I can see a good 5ish minutes of actual gunplay.
