I'm pretty sure that what I did was making my own hud... I didn't just edit a couple things, everything is basically something I made myself.

Would it be possible to add a function to the huds that work in a similar way that CS:GO works? What I mean is, when you're playing that game, in the top left corner it shows the name of the area that you're in. Could something like that be added to the huds for the competitively-played maps?

Probably not, magnivore. Since valve put that into the hud and it tracks your location via minimap
