I really like damage numbers and really well synced music. I really don't like shoutcasters, because I can see whats happening since it's being spotlighted in the frag video.

^I personally love the ocassional clip that includes the live commentary, assuming its a huge play that really gets the casters excited

Slowmo should be used EXTREMELY selectively. Part of what I like about TF2 is the pacing and if I watch a video that's super slow I get bored/frustrated. It's nice for demonstrating the exact mechanics of a very specific bit, or as a way to reiterate/emphasize a particularly nice frag, but when it's used more than just as an accent, I pretty much immediately stop watching.

i like to be able to SEE the frags without the camera moving all over the place or shaking. good music and editing goes a long way in making a good frag video.

every other video thats 20 seconds of frags and 90 of filler/smooths/clouds/looking through whatever fence you can find on the map sucks

when people don't edit the frags and just throw them into movie maker

its not a movie then, its a collection

it's not about how much work you put on it, it's about if it's fun to watch again and again

- frags synched to the music
- bits with live commentary
- good music ( I must say that in general our scene has an amazing taste and I have discovered dozens of artists through fragmovies and Im proud I can say that)
- momentum build up with the song, like slow frags for certain parts and then start increasing the pace and up to an halt again, so its basically frags having a rhythm to it.
-medic play, I have a special soft spot for huge medic plays, particularly with live commentary
-focus on scout headshots with slowmo and zoom, seriously hearing a scout getting headshot it the most amazing thing ever, and the whole pose of the model is really amazing
