truktrukAnyone know if this is going to be a one time payment thing when it comes out? It seems pointless to pay monthly/pay for cards considering on face value it looks like you're battling MTG starter decks. If it does in fact become a one time payment thing I think it'll be pretty awesome, even if the game is super simple compared to MTG.

I spent like 10 minutes with it and it's not really like Hearthstone outside of having cards in it. Be like saying Call of Duty is very similar to TF2. :P

Seems ok though except the animation quality is really bad for some reason.

SolForge & Might and Magic: Duel of Champions are both very good F2P TCGs imo. Not as high of quality as Hearthstone by a long mile as far as feel/effects/looks/etc go, but they are both alright more traditional TCGs like Hearthstone is.

Looking at post #24, the way the health/attack dmg, hand, hero/villain health and sort of the general layout, it reminded me of the game I linked :P Haven't played Hearthstone though so I can't be entirely sure. In fact, I rarely play TCGs anymore so those are probably the norm.

They really need to fix MC because it's kinda dumb that you can't play big drops against a Priest or else you will lose unless you make what is already a bad trade an even worse trade.

otherwise i haven't noticed any really glaring OP issues except that maybe Mage AoE is a little bit too good but it isn't anywhere near as stupid as playing against a competent Priest. It's getting to the point where I just want to concede against any priest because I know I'm not about to have any form of fun.

I wouldn't know too much about it since I don't actually own it, but I have played a few games and found that Mage, Warrior, Priest & Paladin are pretty damn good if played right. Shaman is quite good, didn't try the other classes.

The main problem here is that Mind Control in MTG was an Enchantment and thus could be removed, nothing can stop Mind Control in Hearthstone once it takes one of your creatures (not even silence fixes it), and Priest has such ridiculous cards now (since like a large portion of them got buffed recently) that it took Mind Control from "reasonable because Priest had a lot of shitty cards" to "this is ridiculous when you add in how good SW:D, SW:P, Lightspawn, Northshire Cleric, and PW:S are jesus christ".

The meta of Hearthstone at the high level right now exists mostly because of Priest stuff atm. 4 attack drops are highly valued more than usual because a Priest can't destroy them with his removal (without getting creative, like using a Dark Iron Dwarf to improve a 4 attack to 6 then SW:D) and big drops are way way less valued because a Priest can MC them.

The MC nerf to 10 mana is going to help a lot because it's going to delay it for 2 turns and make removing the MC easier since if they MC on turn 10 currently you can Divine Spirit or PW:S the MC and make them even harder to remove.

ive been going 7+ nearly every run now. As long as i stick to shaman, paladin, warrior, priest, and mage. Druid is ok but I always end up being able to pick something else, i straight up blow on rogue in arena, hunter is a bit rough if no beasts in your draft and it's hero power is awful, and I just hate warlock in general. Also 2drop 2/3s are incredible, disgusting smile every time I draft one.

Has mad bomber been a straight up piece of shit in terms of RNG lately for anyone else? Everytime i've played him for the past week hes taken a dump on me by hitting me 3 times, i just stopped drafting him.

I played with Kithros' deck for a day or two, thalnos is incredible.

Poly feels fine to me, I've always been able to bait it out.

Also looking forward to the hunter changes, sick of seeing the OTK decks, it was so boring and all you had to do was run an abom to shut it down. Maybe hunter can actually be fun now.

@DarkNecrid, I run a mage deck similar to that, I run a flamestrike, double defender of argus, and double dark iron dwarf though. I end up running 2 shattered sun clerics, 2 defenders of argus, and 2 dark iron dwarves in nearly all my aggro decks. Feels nice when smaller minions trade up :P

Well yeah but still getting your gold back literal 100% of the time is pretty impossible though (even someone like Trump loses before 7 eventually) if you win 7+ times enough you build up reserve gold to make up for the losses. Still, most people gotta do the dailies or pay to do it 24/7 :P.
